What is the point of this role?
Working within the Creative pod of the Marketing department, this role plays an integral part in producing and delivering engaging online, offline and special campaign creative that aims to define and characterise the brand.
Bring new ideas of how we represent the brand creatively through graphic design, video, animation, photography, interactive design, and multimedia.
What will I be doing?
- Create visually stunning and typographically rich creative that fulfil design solutions
- Coming up with fresh creative graphic and content ideas for both print and digital use. These will include brochures, social media banners, reports, infographics, newsletter and ad hoc design
- Working under established brand guidelines to deliver on short deadlines
- Maintain design standards by being a brand guardian
- Liaise with teams across the business, including sales and marketing teams as well as external agencies/suppliers to ensure project requests are delivered within a timely and efficient manner
- Support the planning of customer marketing activities across all channels
What will I bring to the role?
- An outstanding portfolio demonstrating creative abilities, concepting and ideation.
- You'll be comfortable articulating your ideas with both designers and noncreative types and receiving constructive feedback.
- A flexible, 'doer' who can provide first class service to a variety of stakeholders.
- You'll need to be confident in your ability to work to tight deadlines, and to deliver our signature brand of high quality, eye catching and attractive creative, day in, day out.
- A 'can do' attitude to new challenges and taking ownership of requests.
- Excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work under your own initiative.
- Ability to work well as part of a remote and onsite team with a focus on collaboration and sharing of ideas.
- Excellent knowledge of the principles of design, typography, and demonstrable experience of practising from conception to execution
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat for digital and print. (Motion graphics experince desirable but not essential)
- Ability to articulate and defend your design choices providing specific and highlevel feedback to team members all the way to board level.
