- Provide insights and guidance from day one with regards to due diligence and draft a legal playbook which will be reviewed, amended and signed off by GC or outside counsel.
- Begin reviewing standard contract terms - understanding the various loan framework agreements and due diligence with regards to BoE legal features such as governing law/domicility of the party and security.
- Be the conduit for legal escalations from a nearshore paralegal team who will undertake more detailed Due Dilligence.
- Manage this escalation through a legal escalation working group with business and legal reps from the bank to recommend and log the decisions on any escalations. In turn the playbook should be recommended to accommodate common execution theme.
