Are you an experienced Senior or Semi-Senior Accountant looking to join a progressive and client-focused accountancy Practice?
Our client, an established local Accountancy branch, is seeking a qualified accountant to join their team in Wetherby.

With flexible working hours and a friendly work environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in a supportive and reputable company.

As a Senior Accountant, you will have the opportunity to manage the Branch within 12-months
Accounts preparation and/or file reviews
Finalisation of accounts and CT Returns
Preparing/reviewing Self-Assessment tax returns
Building strong relationships with clients and providing ongoing support
Acting as the go-to person for advice and guidance within the office

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in UK general practice and a strong background in accounts preparation, taxation, and VAT.

ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualification (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
Payroll, auto-enrolment, and Construction Industry Scheme

While experience in client tax review meetings, management accounts, staff supervision, and introductions for value-added services is preferred, our client is willing to provide full training and support in these areas.
