    Description

    We wish to recruit a qualified ACA or ACCA Chartered Accountant to join our family run company, which has just celebrated its 10-year anniversary to help us continue the expansion of our practice. Candidates working towards their ACA or ACCA qualification will also be considered.

    Reporting to the Senior Management Team.

    Reviewing

    • and occasional preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and charities
    • corporation tax computations and corporation tax returns
    • occasional preparation of self-assessment tax returns
    • VAT returns and bookkeeping
    • Preparation of management accounts, business plans and cashflows
    • Liaising with clients as appropriate
    • Strong communications skills

    Skills and qualification

    • Be professionally qualified at ACA/ACCA level
    • Have experience working in practice
    • Have excellent IT skills, including good use of Excel
    • Xero, Sage and QuickBooks Cloud Accounting software packages desirable
