Description
Would you like the chance to work for a well-established engineering consultancy, driven by a highly competent workforce of nuclear specialists?A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior C&I Engineer to work on a huge exciting project across the UK.
As a Senior C&I Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of instrumentation datasheets and selection of suitable devices for pressure, level, temperature, flow and analytical measurement applications.
Development of Valve datasheets for automatic control and isolation valve assemblies.
This includes production of Equipment Schedules, Hook-up Drawings, Block Cable Diagrams, Wiring Schematics, Control Panel General Arrangements, Loop Diagrams and Equipment Layouts.
Understanding of design realisation and how decisions made in the engineering phase of a project affect testing, construction, commissioning, and operation.
Familiarity with Cyber Security for industrial control systems.Have a good understanding of Human Factors role in engineering design.
Experience with production of, or input to 3D engineering models.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation or Control Engineering.
10+ years' experience working in engineering design in the nuclear, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, mechanical handling or water industries.
Familiar in working in multi-discipline teams evidencing ability to coordinate activities with other disciplines and engineering departments.
Ability to manage and progress work independently requiring limited intervention from the engineering leadership team.
Strong communicator with the ability to efficiently develop documentation using appropriate technical language to describe processes, ideas, and designs.
