Company Overview:


Summary
The Project Development Team work on large and exciting opportunities alongside our Sales team.

Responsible for curating our bids and pitches, including pricing, we work across all of David Phillips' target markets - including Build to Rent, Later Living,Social Housing and Student.


The purpose of the role is to manage and administer the progression of new project and framework opportunities from initial briefing through (hopefully) to contract stage and handover to Operations.

We are a close-knit team, and lots of support is available through training and on request, but ultimately, we would like to encourage you to be an autonomous and independent problem solver

Main Responsibilities

  • Organise and chair cross functional project development meetings to agree timelines and objectives with Product, Interior Design and Sales teams
  • Work with the Sales Lead to identify and exemplify the key winning factors of each bid
  • Project manage development of the bids to ensure quality and adherence to any competitive or commercial requirements
  • Administer all project and framework pricing, working within agreed parameters and raising for approvals as required
  • Raise and assist in managing any project risks
  • Work directly with the client to ensure that their brief has been fully understood and met, including actioning any changes requested
  • Ensure that contract particulars are correct and comprehensive
  • Manage the process of handing over full, accurate and achievable projects to the delivery and Project Management teams

Qualifications
Nil required.


Experience

  • Office 365 suite including very good Excel skills.

Preferred:


  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Developing & implementing tender administration functions.
  • Understanding of interiors & furnishing.
  • Experience of property sector

Place of Work:

Largely a flexible approach, working from home or the office as preferred most of the time. Commutable to our WeWork HQ in Holborn approximately weekly, but flexible depending on project needs. There may also be occasional working from other David Phillipssites, with a requirement to visit development and customer sites.
