    Description

    Overall Objective:
    Control of all day to day activities on civil engineering schemes valued between £0.5 m to £ 5 m. Responsible for one single site, reporting to Contracts Manager or part of a team on a larger project.


    Key Accountabilities:
    Ensure full compliance with contractual requirements and Company Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems
    Assess the environmental impact and risks connected to projects
    Prepare and review risk assessments and method statements
    Ensure technical compliance and the safety of all operational activities
    Monitor progress against programme, take off and call off materials in advance of work
    Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, variation reports for the scheme
    Prepare detailed weekly lookahead programmes
    Schedule and manage resources to deliver site works
    Provide accurate records and measurement details to enable the Quantity Surveyor to prepare monthly valuations
    Support the planning, design and management of projects
    Manage information flow and identify technical queries
    Ensure exceptional levels of customer care

    Experience and Qualifications:
    ~ Computer literate, including Microsoft suit of applications
    ~ CSCS Site Supervisor (Gold)
    ~5 day Site Managers Safety Training Scheme certificate
    ~ Experience of civil engineering scheme of values £100k - £2million
    ~ First aid at work certificate desirable
    ~ Full clean UK driving licence
