    Clinical Bioinformatician

    Cambridge Hybrid

    Must have right to work in UK

    Have you got a background in Clinical Bioinformatics with a focus or interest Quality?

    This opportunity within a growing Cambridge Biotech could be the next step in your career. After just securing another round of funding this young biotech is looking for an experienced Bioinformatician to join their team in Cambridge. The company offer software solutions to address big data challenges in hospitals, Biotechs and Research Institutes.

    You will be implementing the Bioinformatics testing environment, designing the strategy, and developing new features. You will be the Bioinformatics expert within the quality team, so the role will be Bioinformatics focused but with an emphasis on delivering quality services to their client base.

    Ideally you will have

    MSc or higher in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or other related discipline.

    Plus a few years of post study experience in Clinical Bioinformatics

    Strong coding skills (Python/R)

    Understanding of quality assurance and testing of Bioinformatics software and tools

    Understanding of testing and validation
