Description

To assist Senior Managers in ensuring the provision of a comprehensive, confidential, accurate, administrative and secretarial service and to work as a member of the administrative team.

The role involves a substantial amount of minute taking at senior meetings.


Trafford Mental Health Services provide local, high quality, efficient and effective services for people experiencing problems with enduring mental illness, working towards meeting national targets jointly with commissioners and other partner agencies.

The service involves patients and service users at all levels of decision-making.

Act as a key link in the communications process between the Senior Managers and members of the service.

Receive and initiate a variety of telephone calls on behalf of the service, using initiative to deal with matters where possible, taking messages and re-directing calls as appropriate.

Liaise with managers and staff from external agencies and internal services.

Type a variety of letters and reports using Word and a number of other IT packages. Work can be done from manuscript, copy, audio or dictation. Complete work within allocated timescales and to a professional standard.
