- Ensure the provision and allocation of detailed production schedules in order to facilitate the execution of the weekly manufacturing plan.
- Prepare data for, and take part in Daily Work Management meetings
- Manage work in process stock levels through effective load balancing through the downstream production areas
- Identify common cause issues preventing timely scheduling of the order load through the downstream production units
- Identification and communication of unavailable material excluded from schedule
- Ensure that prioritised/expedited orders are addressed through each stage of the identified route, to maintain customer continuity
- Coordinate production workflow for multiple products
- Liaise with Sales team to ensure ownership of commitment expectance process
- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
- Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports
- Experience with capacity planning and resource planning tools in an ERP environment.
- Previous experience within Manufacturing ( Preferably sheet metal)
- High attention detail
- Advanced in excel
- Desktop Production planning/ Capacity planning
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, and do you work at pace?
- Excellent analytical skills
- Exposure to all aspects of planning, including supply/materials planning and demand planning
- Excellent communications skills
