Deputy Team Leader - Personal Injury Team - Casualty / EL/PL - Liverpool


Deputy Team Leader - The personal injury EL/PL team of this leading national defendant insurance firm is looking for a Deputy Team Leader to support the Team Leader on a fixed term contract.

The Casualty EL/PL team which looks after certain key clients of the firm particularly in sectors such as leisure and retail.

Permanent / contract: contract opportunity. Strong likelihood they can offer permanent work

Reports to: Team Leader and Operations Director

Previous experience: Solicitors; Legal Executives; Litigation Executives or experienced Personal Injury Paralegals with proven litigated casualty EL/PL experience preferably from a defendant insurance litigation background, though claimant will be considered. Any previous leadership experience would also be welcome although those looking for their first step up into an operational role should also apply.


Reduced caseload with focus on mentoring and leadership


The successful applicant will have a reduced caseload and will be expected to help lead, mentor and manage the fee earners and well as helping to oversea certain key client relationships.


The work undertaken by the team ranges encompasses everything from pre-litigation work and volume fast track to more complex multi track work.
