Description

We're looking for an Ecommerce Trading Assistant to join at an exciting time as we look to onboard further brands within the Crew Clothing Group portfolio, and enable ambitious growth plans.

This role will be responsible for supporting the E-Commerce Trading manager in delivering the sales plan for the season across all brands, focusing initially on Ben Sherman.

You will be ensuring products launch on time, merchandising the sites to optimise/increase conversion and AOV, and identifying opportunities of growth.


Product

  • Support in the management of the products onsite. Including reporting on the weekly best sellers & communicating the number of new lines launched in the previous week and outlining any issues.
  • Accountable for preparing all products with full and correct web attributes, ensuring none are missing for launch. Ensure images, copy & links are all working and linking correctly
  • Maintain and merchandise products within category, curated and promotional pages working closely alongside merchandising.
  • Recommend products for marketing channels and aligning this with the management of the products & product pages

Promotions

  • Awareness of key promotional activity, ensuring prices are actioned and accurate for launch of the event. Highlight any risks to delivery.
  • Ensuring all relevant promotional components have been set up onsite including badges, banners and content

Customer Experience

  • Monitor, browse and test website frequently to ensure all links, functionality, content and pages are working seamlessly, working with the wider Ecommerce team to resolve any irregularities or issues.
  • Use web analytic data from Google Analytics to monitor website and product performance and identify key merchandising and content actions based on the data.
  • Support with the E-Commerce Optimisation and Development projects, improving user experience, SEO & KPIs
  • Ensure the website is updated frequently (homepage and key pages weekly in line with Retail Windows, Marketing/Trading focus) with new product content & imagery.
  • Create a rich interactive online experience for Crew customers through relevant content and keeping up to date with competitor activity to ensure the website is constantly evolving.
  • Update key footer and store pages when information changes are required.
  • Support in briefing image and copy requirements to the Creative Team to drive sales, AOV and conversion.
  • Be a key point of contact for the Customer Service team for product information, informing them when items are offline if faulty or there are image/stock issues.
  • Update the website/blog with new keyword rich content such as articles on a regular basis

  • Digitally active, including some digitally related work experience.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong team player, able to work flexibly to support the team where required.
  • A desire to learn new technologies and work within a fastpaced and dynamic environment
