    Your Role:

  • Produce Creative Designs: As a designer, your primary responsibility is to create innovative and appealing knitwear designs that align with the latest trends in Womenswear fashion. This involves staying updated on emerging trends in colours, shapes, and styles.
  • Trend Prediction: You'll need to have a keen eye for trends and be able to predict upcoming shifts in the market. This requires research, trend analysis, and a deep understanding of consumer preferences.
  • Travel and Collaboration: To stay inspired and source materials, you'll likely travel to various locations. This could involve visiting trade shows, meeting with fabric suppliers, and collaborating with partners in different territories.
  • Time Management and Critical Path Control: Juggling multiple tasks and deadlines is crucial in this role. You'll need strong organisational skills to manage your own critical path effectively, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Overall, this role requires a blend of creativity, trend forecasting and effective communication skills to bring innovative Womenswear Knitwear designs to life

    About You:

  • Highly creative with a real vision for designing ranges.
  • Knitwear Design experience is essential
  • Experienced in identifying and proposing potential new product opportunities.
  • Outstanding commercial awareness and comprehensive understanding of design and trends.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of working well with other product teams and external suppliers to build productive relationships.
  • Competent user of both Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
