If you're considering an accountancy, tax or business advisory career, joining us for a summer internship is a good way to try it out before you commit to a training contract. We'll pay you for your time, it'll look great on your CV and could be a foot in the door for your long-term Sagars career.

Your opportunity

Following our merger with the AAB Group, Sagars is continuing to grow, so we're seeking high calibre undergraduates to join us for a minimum of six weeks on a paid placement in Summer 202- Positions exist in our Leeds-based business client team, incorporating
audit and
accounting /
cloud
accounting, offering you interesting and varied work experience, together with valuable insight into the day-to-day professional lives of chartered accountants, tax specialists and business advisers.

Whilst you're on placement with us, we can guarantee you the full support of our awardwinning team members (who will be happy to answer as many questions as you can think of), a friendly and flexible working environment, dress for your day approach and social event invitations.
Perhaps more important than all of that is the fact that three of our current partners, one of our directors and lots of our senior managers joined us as trainees proof of the excellent career prospects that exist for the right people. Impress us on your placement and you could secure a training contract to further your career.

About you

To make it onto the Sagars team you'll need to be a natural relationship builder and an enthusiastic team player with energy, commitment, a thirst for knowledge and a good sense of humour - if this sounds like you then you'll fit right in, and that matters to us as much as your academic achievements.

To guarantee the very best technical and personal levels of service, we're looking for people with the drive and personality to help us meet our clients' needs. Competition is tough and you'll need a minimum ABB at A level (or equivalent) and 5 GCSE's including English and Maths at grade 6 or above.
