Description
Within children's services at Cambridge University Hospitals the Department of Paediatric General Surgery/Urology is dedicated to providing specialist, professional care to our patients and their families in a welcoming and committed atmosphere.
We are seeking to recruit a Clinical Nurse Specialist within the speciality of Paediatric Surgery/Urology.You will liaise with all relevant professional groups and agencies within and outside the Trust to enhance the delivery of care to children, young people and families under the care of the paediatric surgery/urology team, providing guidance, support and advice.
You will be enthusiastic, flexible and able to work effectively and efficiently under pressure.
You will have already played a role within both the care of paediatric general surgery and paediatric urology patients and have the desire to further enhance and develop your skills.
This includes the provision of specialist education and training for other staff and students
Responsible for implementing a clearly defined integrated approach to patient care encompassing new treatments and evidence based care
