Main duties of the job
The Jobholder will carry 24-hour continuing responsibility for the effective and efficient management of the ward. They will provide professional, clinical and managerial leadership and supervision for the nursing team. The jobholder will be responsible for developing and maintaining a ward philosophy that has the patient at the centre of compassionate and safe care. Through managing the administrative and financial aspects of the ward, the jobholder will ensure cost effective use of clinical and human resources.
