St.

Magnus Hospital provides Low Secure and In-patient High Support care to older adult male patients (over 55) with mental illness, cognitive impairment and degenerative conditions such as Huntington's Disease, often (but not exclusively) in the context of an offending history.

St. Magnus Nursing provides Nursing Home care to older male and female adults with similar conditions. St Magnus Hospital and Nursing is set in the countryside on the outskirts of Haslemere in Surrey.

St Martha's Hospital provides care and support for older men and women within an inpatient setting. St Martha's Hospital is set in 40 acres of woodland near Ringwood in Hampshire.

  • We are seeking a Clinical Governance Officer to join our team._
  • This is a Full Time, office based (Haslemere, Surrey) role with a requirement to work two days per month at our St Martha's Hospital site located in Ringwood, Hampshire. _
  • Experience of governance is desirable, ideally previous experience of working in health care._
  • A GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English is required for this role. _
  • The role is to support the Clinical Governance department, collecting and interpreting data to populate templates to fulfil quality reports and undertaking regular and varied audits on behalf of the company._

Job outline

  • To coordinate all aspects of clinical governance on behalf of the team at St Magnus and St Martha's hospitals.
  • To collate information required and submit in a timely manner to Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG's) the contractual agreement requirements for each Individual Patient Agreement.
  • To collate and report on all aspects of clinical audit undertaken across both sites, produce quarterly clinical audit reports for the Clinical Management Team.


To provide incident reports using data from our internal incident management IT system for Managers and the Executive Management Team.


  • To monitor policy development across both sites, provide managers with timely reminders for the renewal of policies and to maintain St Magnus and St Martha's policies on SharePoint.

Pay:
£25,500.00-£26,500.00 per year
