The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is a world-leading centre for research and postgraduate education in public and global health.

Our mission is to improve health and health equity in the UK and worldwide; working in partnership to achieve excellence in public and global health research, education and translation of knowledge into policy and practice.


We wish to appoint a Professor or Associate Professor in a field related to environmental and planetary health to provide intellectual leadership and help drive the development of this strategically important area of research at LSHTM.

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated researcher with a strong track record and expertise in environmental epidemiology and/or evaluation of the health impacts of climate change and environmental policies.

The post is full-time, 35 hours per week, 1.0 FTE and permanent. The post is available from 1 October 2023.
