Role Description

This is a full-time role located in Letchworth and at the customer site (as required) for a Trainee Calibration Technician. The Trainee Calibration Technician will be responsible for performing calibration tasks, operating and troubleshooting test equipment. Additionally, the Trainee Calibration Technician will support the calibration team and assist with various tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Full training will be provided, but an understanding of electronics would really help you grow quicker
Experience with test equipment operation and troubleshooting is a bonus
The work we do is important, so attention to detail is critical
Not every calibration goes to plan, so problem-solving skills help ensure we can minimise downtime for our customers.
Good organizational and time-management abilities
The role interacts with customers, suppliers, and various teams in the business, so strong written and verbal communication skills are appreciated
Ability to work well in a team environment and willingness to help each other out

Ultimately, what we do it quite niche, so we do not expect you to have years of specific experience - the key is the willingness to learn and deliver.
