Nine Twenty are excited to be working with our prestigious drinks manufacturing client in their need for a Distillery Manager.

This is a permanent role and is the opportunity to work within a large Distillery function working with an iconic brand, taking ownership of continuous improvement and technical projects such as sustainability, carbon reduction, water efficiencies & safety.

Whilst being able to lead, manage & develop teams to achieve & deliver.

Responsibilities:

Lead, grow and develop talent within the team
Ensure an effective continuous improvement culture & innovation
Implement the planning process, to support a drive for improved operating costs and efficient resource management.
Preparation and translation of operational reports to provide realtime updates on plant performance, including individual performance, and overall demonstrating compliance
Accountable for exercising due diligence by conducting multiple plant rounds to check equipment is maintained and CSD's are completed, trouble shoot any potential processing problems and eliminate any outages through structured problem solving.
Maintains the safe operation of their process plant to ensure continuity of process operation and conformity of byproduct streams to operational and environmental standards.
Maintain a focus on loss and waste reduction to achieve new levels of efficiency and productivity
