About the role:
As Document Controller you will provide document control for complex, multi-site projects to ensure the delivery of compliant and traceable project documentation.
You'll be the interface with the Main Works Contractor's document controller and systems to ensure that all contractual documents are correctly administered in compliance with National Grid's policies and procedures.
Ensuring that all documents are reviewed, approved, and that changes are identified and updated, you'll distribute documents to relevant parties, making sure that documentation is controlled and traceable to form part of an audit trail.
You'll mostly be working from a site office near Devizes (3-4 days per week), and this can be combined with hybrid working from home.
What you'll need:
Extensive experience in the use of Common Data Environments (CDE) and/or collaboration software is key as is experience of project delivery and using naming conventions and metadata in document control.
Experience and Knowledge of project handover records and CDM Health & Safety file requirements would be an advantage as well as an awareness of: Construction contract environment, including contractual terms of conditions and processes.
As you'll occasionally be required to travel to meetings at other National Grid sites a full Clean Driving Licence is also required.

A competitive salary between £33,100- £37,000 - dependent on capability
