We are working with a manufacturing business in Telford to recruit for a new Testing team member. You will be working on low voltage and small electrical products to ensure compliance with current standards and will be part of a fantastic team of people who are all supportive and, in a business, where you will feel appreciated.
The Electrical Test Engineer will be responsible for:
·Working alongside the production team to meet manufacturing schedule
·Testing and inspection of low voltage electrical equipment ensuring they meet current standards
·Complete relevant documentation upon test and inspection
·Store documents in correct location
·Transport completed items to despatch team ready for shipment
·Working with the Production and Quality Manager
·Assisting the project teams with any requirements
·Aiding colleague with workload
Skills and Experience
·Must hold BS7671 Wiring Regulations – 18th edition preferable
·Previous experience with electrical testing and inspection
·Understanding of BS EN 61439 and BS 7909 would be beneficial
·Must be a team player and willing to assist colleagues
·This role would suit someone who has previously worked as an Electrician / Test Engineer / Electrical Test Engineer / Electrical Engineer
