    Job summary

    We are seeking an enthusiastic Digital Support Analyst to support and assist in the delivery of avariety of digital products and services across the organisation here at Cumbria Health on Call.

    We are looking for a candidate who possesses excellent IT and customer service skills, is a quick learner and able to act on their own initiative.

    The suitable candidates must be willing to work during Out of Hours (evenings/weekends).

    Main duties of the job

    Cumbria Healthsvision is to ensure that technology is intrinsic to healthcare in anout-of-hospital setting.

    The role ofDigital Support Analyst is to support and assist in the delivery of a varietyof digital products and services across the organisation.

    The post holderwill:-

    Be part of the Digital team and contribute to the delivery of theorganisations technology requirements.

    Provide technical administration services to the key systems within the organisation.

    Troubleshoot issues that arise with key systems within the organisationand take ownership of the issue through to resolution working with third partyproviders

    Proactively maintain key systems within the organisation for data andinformation collection

    Assist in the delivery of training to clinical and non-clinical staff ina wide range of systems.

    Job description

    Job responsibilities

    1. Be responsible for the on-boarding and off-boarding of staff starting with or leaving the organisation, this includes access to clinical and non-clinical applications

    2. Provide technical administration services to the key systems within the organisation.

    3. Provide user support to Cumbria Health staff, this will require work during the services operation evenings and weekends

    4. Work closely with Digital Development Manager on the development of reports to meet the internal and external requirements of the organisation

    5. Assist in the development of application standard operating procedures (SOP), help guides and e-learning materials

    6. Delivery of internal training to GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Healthcare Assistants, Pharmacists, Control Room and Receptionist staff on the use of key applications within Cumbria Health

    7. Assist in the delivery of Technology Enabled Care Solutions to the organisation including the use of healthcare apps and video consultations

    8. Be part of the Digital team and contribute to the delivery of the organisations technology requirements.

    9. Troubleshoot issues that arise with key systems within the organisation and take ownership of the issue through to resolution working with third party providers

    10. Proactively maintain key systems within the organisation for data and information collection

  • Internet usage and navigation
  • Knowledge to be able to plan and organise straight forward tasks, some on-going
  • Good communications skills, both oral and written including keyboard skills

  • Access to a vehicle/transport with the ability to travel to sites across Cumbria
  • Willingness to undertake further training
  • Qualifications

    Essential

  • Minimum 4 x GCSE (Grade C or above) or equivalent
  • Desirable

  • ECDL or similar
  • Degree level of education or equivalent experience
  • Experience

    Essential

  • Experience of providing customer focused advice/support via telephone/email/face to face
  • Previous technical administrative experience
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Desirable

  • Experience of NHS systems
  • Office 365 Experience
  • Relational Databases such as SQL
  • Understanding of IT issues, identification, correction and prevention of future issues
  • Working within an IT department
