- Hire, induct, train and manage a team of over 30 Front of house staff.
- Overseeing the full venue to implement strategy, drive revenues and manage costs.
- Responsible for venue profit and loss
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the full team.
- Recruitment and ongoing development of the team, ensuring that all company HR policies and procedures are followed.
- Till and invoicing responsibilities including end of day sales reporting.
- Ensuring high cleaning and maintenance standards by managing the completion of daily, weekly and monthly checklists/paperwork.
- Ensuring that all environmental health regulations are adhered to all times and oversight of the food safety management system and health and safety polices.
- Stock control and product ordering ensuring that procedures are followed and margin/profit control is in place.
- Management of multiple content management systems including EPOS and reservation systems.
- Recording, collation and reporting of data.
- Developing relationships with customers to drive repeat custom.
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and outstanding experiences.
- Representing the brand off-site at consumer and trade events, being an ambassador and promoting brand awareness.
- Other tasks and project work as directed by the Directors.
- 3+ years' experience within a relevant management role
- 3+ years' experience managing a bar programme and menu creation
- Significant number of years' experience within equivalent hospitality offerings
- Experience of leading large teams (20+ people)
- Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office, Point of Sale and rota systems
- Experience of managing high levels of food safety compliance
- Passion for hospitality
- Food Safety qualification (desirable)
- First aid qualification (desirable)

Description
Following the success of its inaugural international site in the heart of Notting Hill, Sunday in Brooklyn will be launching its second UK location in St Christopher's Place, Oxford Street.
Originally opened in Brooklyn 2016, the restaurant has become a much-loved fixture in New York's dining scene. We are known for our inventive spin on American staples, playful cocktails, an epic brunch and dinner menus and our exceptionally warm hospitality.
We are looking to hire an experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our current management team, and assist with all day to day operations of the restaurant and bar and play a active role in launching the new site.
The key requirements of this role consist of supporting the General Manager to launch and operate this high volume food and beverage venue whilst maintaining all standards and the ability to manage the commercial success of the venue. The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for the beverage component of the venue, with the bar team reporting into the AGM.
