Description

We are looking for a Receptionist to join our dedicated small animal practices across The Southampton Hub. We pride ourselves on our great relationships with our clients and their pets.
The position is 40 hours a week between the hours of 8.15 am

7.15pm and 1 in 6 Saturdays 8.30am 5.00pm. You will provide cover at all our 4 branches, either Pet Doctors in Botley, Harrier Vets in Hamble, Brookhouse in Shirley and Pet Doctors in Chandlers Ford. Must have a driving licence and a car.

You would have a vital role in welcoming our clients and their pets, dealing with queries, and supporting the vets and nurses throughout the day.

You will need to be able to work well within a team, sometimes under high pressure. No previous experience necessary.

Main duties would include:

Answering the telephone, booking appointments and processing prescription requests
Dealing with clients at the reception desk, taking payments and dealing with enquiries
Accurately recording client and animal information on our IT system, so good IT skills would be preferable
Cleaning duties are involved

The salary for this position will be in line with National Minimum Wage +3% cost of living increase.
