You need to be able to work both weekdays and weekends as required.
Summary Responsibilities / Duties
- Lead shifts
- Supervise staff
- Mentor staff
- Order medications
- Administer medications
- Motivate and manage others
- Create, complete & review care plans and other records in a timely & accurate manner.
- Audit care plans and other aspects of the service
- Contribute to the safe & smooth running of the Home
- Participate in preadmission assessments, resident, relative meetings
- Deputise for the Home Manager where required
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience of elderly / dementia / disabled care is essential
- Demonstrable experience of leading shifts
- Capable and qualified in administering medication
- Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social care preferred
- Experience of using PCS digital care planning preferred
- IT literate
