An exciting opportunity for a
Bid Manager to join a dynamic, highly visible, and well-respected international bid team that plays a pivotal role in sales growth and strategy for a Global Recruitment Company.
Main Responsibilities
- Bid manage multinational and global opportunities
- Manage multiple bids concurrently, from more transactional business opportunities to complex and sophisticated workforce solutions
- Qualify opportunities and advise key stakeholders
- Control and coordination of each stage of the proposal life cycle from kickoff to contract signing / hand over to implementation
- Organise and chair solution and bid review calls
- Lead workshops to scope and solution opportunities
- Coordinating pricing from markets and, where necessary and appropriate, challenging proposed rates; seeking clarifications; advising on negotiation strategy
- Set and manage the project timelines for internal stakeholders to ensure that client deadlines are met
- Document control and management of tender submissions
- Write original copy, and provide graphic design and presentation support
- Proof and sanity check all responses with a meticulous attention to detail
- Ensure that proposals are submitted in a compliant manner and in accordance with brand guidelines
- Maintain and add content to central bid repository
- Ensure that opportunities are correctly logged on opportunity tracker.
Skills & Experience required:
- Experience managing the delivery of projects within time frames
- Ability to communicate effectively and adapt style to suit different audiences, nationalities and cultures
- Management of an intense workload with urgency, resilience and persistence
- Strong and proactive collaborator who is willing to put forward new ideas and challenge the status quo
- Ability to prioritise and structure workload effectively, working to and meeting strict deadlines
- Natural selfstarter; proactive and able to manage day to day workload effectively without the need for constant supervision
- Composed, professional and diplomatic manner
- High attention to detail / analytical skills
- Strong and effective communicator, able to adapt their style to cultural nuances
- Desire to learn and progress in their career, assuming more responsibility and accountability
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
