Religious Studies Teacher

ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED RELIGIOUS STUDIES OR HUMANITIES TEACHER LOOKING TO UTILISE YOUR SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE WITHIN A SECONDARY SCHOOL?

Qualifications:

QTS or PGCE qualification or equivalent

Previous experience as an RE teacher or experience teaching humanities subjects

Skills:

Strong understanding of the Religious Studies national curriculum
Knowledge and sensitivity of various religions and beliefs
Have transferable knowledge and skills across various humanities subjects
Plan and deliver engaging and informative RE lessons to a range of ages and abilities
Assess pupils learning and development through regular assessments and provide prompt feedback

Job Duties:

Plan and deliver Religious Studies lessons in line with the national curriculum
Teach students about various religions and beliefs with sensitivity and respect
Assess students' progress and provide feedback to support their development
Create engaging and interactive lessons to cater to different learning styles
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive approach to teaching Religious Studies

Required Qualifications:

Additional qualifications in Religious Studies or related field
