REED are currently working in partnership with a public sector organisation to recruit a
Talent Acquisition Manager into their Human Resources team.


Our client are seeking an experienced, Talent Professional to drive and lead their recruitment initiatives, aligning to their diversity aims and ensure these are embedded into the full recruitment cycle.

Partnering with their Talent Manager, you will develop and deliver the recruitment agenda for the organisation.

You will lead, develop and implement a proactive and strategic approach to resourcing, connect, engage, and attract diverse talent from the widestpossible audience to support the strategic capability.


Responsibilities:

  • Have oversight of recruitment across the organisation, enhancing the employer brand, creating customer centric service and driving forward a direct hire approach.
  • Proactively ensure that all recruitment is in line with the organisation's commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Manage the production, maintenance and communication of recruitment processes, guidance, tools and training to the organisation
  • Proactively work with our external agencies and social media tools to ensure strong and diverse talent pools
  • Lead on the development of the recruitment strategy to support the People and Culture strategy
  • Contribute to the talent strategy that will underpin the overarching objectives of the People and Culture strategy

Essential Criteria:


  • Strong knowledge of best practice and experience of implementing and embedding recruitment strategies
  • Excellent relationship management and influencing skills to build and maintain key stakeholder relationships
  • Experience of building and leading a team to achieve organisational strategies
  • Proven track record in the full end to end recruitment process at volume
  • Proven experience of developing and updating processes to support best practice and enable a diverse sourcing outcome
  • Strong knowledge and experience of employer brand strategies and the effective use of social media
