£22,978pa

Permanent Contract

FT | M - F | 9am - 5pm


Reed HR are proud to be working with a highly reputable and historic organisation in Edinburgh, who are actively seeking a HR Administrator to join the team, on a permanent basis.


Reporting into the HR Advisor, this role will be responsible for providing administrative support across a wide range of HR areas including HR system administration, recruitment and onboarding, as well as general administration support for the HR team.

Main Duties / Responsibilities:


  • Supporting with HR System requirements related to all Employee Life Cycle transactions
  • Conducting all necessary preemployment checks such as RTW checks and obtaining satisfactory references, prior to new starters joining
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for dealing with any general HR enquiries, escalating more complex queries where necessary
  • Carrying out all the administrative processes in the recruitment procedure
  • Prior experience in a HR Administration role OR General Administration experience & a HR qualification / CIPD
  • The ability to manage their own workload and prioritise tasks accordingly
  • Excellent organisational skills
