    Description
    Quality Engineer

    We are currently partnering with one of the UK's largest manufacturers in their field.

    The company have been established for nearly 8 decades and their continued success designing and manufacturing to an immensely high standard has led to their continued growth and prosperity.

    Our client, a forward-thinking business sell a diverse range of products, delivering customised leading technology and services.
    They strive for precision-standing for quality, speed, and flexibility, always driving leading technology forwards.
    This leading Manufacturing are now looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team and report into the Quality Manager
    As Quality Engineer you will champion both the product and process quality at an operational level.

    Key responsibilities as Quality Engineer :

    Provide Quality support within the manufacturing facility to achieve the Quality objectives and reduce the cost of poor Quality.

    Facilitate root cause analysis and reporting activities.
    Assist in promoting a Quality awareness culture throughout the business.

    Supporting the Quality Inspection team in the analysis of quality inspection data and review the effectiveness of supplier corrective actions.

    Drive supplier Quality improvement activities

    Experience as Quality Engineer:
    Degree/ HNC/ NVQ or higher in a Quality/ Engineering or technical subject or relevant industry experience
    ~ Knowledge of/ competent use in APQP project processes, DFMEA, PFMEA, Quality Control plan and process flow mapping
    ~ Knowledge of competency in Supplier related Quality practices and Processes: PPAP, ISIR and supplier related Practices and Processes PPAP, ISIR and Supplier Quality Assessments
    ~Experience working independently to see Quality concerns through to resolution in full
    ~ Capability to be an advocate for Quality and process improvement.
    ~ Full driving License
