Accounts Assistant - Dudley, United Kingdom - Reed Accountancy
Description
Duties to include- To coordinate and manage the Barclaycard function each month. Validating and matching all expense claims, receipts and statements. Chasing up and escalating outstanding statements and receipts not returned.
- Office for National Statistics surveys monthly.
- Assist with AP by carrying out supplier statement reconciliations. Take control of direct debit transactions, requesting invoices from supplier and matching on the system.
- Reconcile fixed asset register and post monthly deprecation journals
- Provide holiday cover for the following roles:
- Credit Control
- Purchase Ledger
- Payroll
- Good time management, planning and organisational skills, with high level of attention to detail.
- Good work ethic, committed to delivering high quality of work.
- Confident in managing changing priorities.
- Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft office advantageous
- Ability to perform well as part of a team and work calmly under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills, confident and engaging when dealing with suppliers and colleagues.
