The role is to analyse the business processes and map these to the Societys software applications. This will be a process of continual improvement as software is updated and/or processes change.
You would identify and implement efficiencies where they can be gained, to assist in the development of and training in new or updated systems.
It is a requirement of the role to be in the office 5 days per week whilst within the26-week probationary period, following this, flexible home working option (2 days per week) is available.
In a quickly growing organisation that has a solid financial performance, you need to have excellent communication skills to engage with users across the Society and to understand their needs and the Society as a whole.
To present the findings, recommendations, and project updates to various audiences.Analyse findings, identify the processes and information technology required to introduce recommendations and map procedures and processes onto the software applications.
Requirement Elicitation and Analysis:
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
Elicit, document, and analyse business requirements, processes, and workflows.
Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technical teams.
Solution Design:
Collaborate with internal and external technology teams to design solutions that meet business needs.
Propose innovative and practical solutions to address business challenges.
Create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes whilst considering the opportunities and potential risks attached to the suggestions made.
Applicants should have proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development lifecycle.
Knowledge of relevant tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence etc.
Strong organisation and planning, with attention to detail.
