Electrician
Hourly Rate – £16.32 per hour (plus benefits)
Hours – 47.5 hours per week, 7.00am to 5.00pm
Location Postcode – WF11 0AH

Based at Darrington Quarry, but covering the surrounding quarries, the position of Qualified Industrial Electrician is varied and exciting, with the opportunity to work on a wide range of equipment.

This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week Monday to Friday, however, we will consider requests for job shares to suit your lifestyle (working full days).

What will you be doing?

Carrying out effective planned maintenance.
Carrying out remedial repairs following routine statutory electrical testing.
Attending emergency breakdowns.
Electrical and mechanical faultfinding.
Providing temporary fixes and permanent solutions to maintain operation.

What we're looking for

Trained to City & Guilds or ONC standard, ideally with a working knowledge of BS7671 18th edition.
Conversant with the Electricity at Work Act.
The ability to read electrical drawings.
Familiarity with industrial mobile and fixed plant.
A working knowledge of PLCs, inverters, drives and motor control circuits etc.
The ability to diagnose and repair electrical problems.
Experience across a wide variety of equipment.
