You will forge and maintain relationships with stakeholders and take control of first line defence responsibilities and make a tangible impact on the risk functionTHE COMPANYThis company is a well-established bank within the UK offering a range of products for individuals, businesses and corporate clients.
It prides itself on its innovation through digital banking platforms and mobile apps providing convenient access to banking servicesTHE ROLEYou will be doing the following daily:Oversee comprehensive risk reporting and performance indicators for escalation to operational risk monthly meetingsHighlight areas requiring action and drive proactive risk mitigation strategiesPartner with colleagues to educate on operational risk responsibilities and promote continuous process and control improvementFacilitate the design and independent review of SOX compliance and risk assurance testing for TreasuryEnsure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies in testing methodologiesManage Treasury loss events by swiftly escalating and minimizing financial, regulatory, or customer impactsConduct thorough investigations to identify root causes and prevent recurrenceUphold trust and confidence of stakeholders through vigilant risk management practicesYOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEPrevious experience working on treasuryExperience working on RCSA and control testingPrevious experience building relationships across a wide range of stakeholdersThe ability to maintain strong networks across a complex organisationExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
