Description
An international solar developer, owner, and operator are seeking a Commercial Asset Manager to manage their UK solar portfolio.The company is constructing 300MW+ in Solar PV / BESS this year, a portfolio that will require management once constructed, and you will help lead on the management of these assets.
You will be a proactive individual with a strong understanding of the UK regulatory landscape to lead our client's asset portfolio to success.
This is a remote role with travel to London once a month (or more if preferred).As Commercial Asset Manager, you will manage the commercial aspects of the company's UK Solar portfolio.
You will ensure the commercial success of the solar portfolio including managing the solar and BESS assets and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
You will aim to maximize asset returns via efficiency analysis and compliance monitoring. You'll also be responsible for analyzing financial data, supporting company growth initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This includes managing insurance claims and resolving legal issues.Other responsibilities include maintaining safety standards during solar/ BESS asset construction, as well as the efficient management of operational budgets.
3+ years' experience in Commercial Asset Management or Technical Asset Management essential# Financial knowledge of Solar PV/ BESS and other renewable energy projects preferred
# Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
