Inventory Clerk / Receiving Clerk

Salary £23,000, 23 days holiday + bank holidays, pension and perks

8am - 4.30pm


As the Service Centre Receiving / Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all repairs at the point of entry to the Service Centre using ERP and WMS for products with warrantees.


Duties include:


  • Receiving all repair items into the Service Centre both physically and systemically
  • Maintaining the expectations of high accuracy of data inputting.
  • Raising of new Service orders when requested.
  • Follow current work instructions for maintaining accurate repair record keeping.
  • Ensuring proper locating of repairs before and after completion.
  • Consistently work to achieving individual Repair KPI.
  • Raise new part number requests when required.
  • To pick and locate inventory accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Notify leadership of inventory discrepancies or nonconformities immediately.
  • To assist in cycle account on request.
  • Accurately log all parts used in a repair to ensure inventory quantities are correct.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has prior experience in a warehouse environment, in particulars in either Goods In or Receiving departments for a repair, assembly or engineering business
  • Has experience as a picker or store person and understands stock control
  • Can work safely and independently
  • Can achieve daily targets in a rapid repair/assembly environment
  • Is IT literate and has experience with ERP systems and/or digital job cards
  • Can demonstrate working effectively as part of a small team, ensuring daily tasks were performed
  • Can read & write fluently in English and conduct themselves professionally in customer communications.
