About the Role

***The role will also see the post holder work to actively embed fundraising and supporter engagement within the University's culture, facilitating broader audience engagement.


This includes the organisation, administration and management of fundraising campaigns, as well as working with the Individual Giving Officer (New Audiences) to coordinate the recruitment and training of the Student Supervision Team and Student Calling Team.

With the appointment of Matt Ferguson as its Director of Development at the start of 2018, the team has been challenged to raise the funds needed to take the University and its students to the next level.


We're entering the early planning stages of a new major philanthropic campaign, which will significantly scale the ambition for the University's fundraising and engagement activity.

We're currently seeking a highly organised and solution-focused individual for the position of Individual Giving Officer (Retention and Donor Pathways).


The Individual Giving Team is in a place of growth and this individual will play a critical role in achieving our goals.

The purpose of the Individual Giving Team is to raise the visibility of philanthropy across the University, inspiring a culture of giving that supports student success and fuels research and innovation.

We believe that by sharing engaging stories of student success and the impact of philanthropy, we can build deeper relationships with our donors and retain their support for years to come.
