An Accounts Assistant is required in the Huddersfield area of HD2. This is a permanent and full time role offering a great career opportunity either on a full time or part time basis. 37.5 hours per week maximum or 25 hours per week minimum.
With a rounded experience in accounts from sales ledger and purchase ledger, through to credit control and reports, this company offers ongoing training, progression and a supportive team.

- The role will include:_
- Working with the Finance Director and fellow Accounts Assistant to ensure a smooth running, efficient and commercially aware accounts function.
- To post to both the sales and purchase ledger in a timely and accurate process via SAGE.
- To assist in data entry for reporting and analysis on Excel.
- To ensure swift distribution and return of approved purchase and sales invoices, with operational focus of contractual agreements for clients and suppliers alike.
- Issuing statements and supporting precredit control activity building rapport with all parties.
- Assist in preparation of payments, reports and analysis.
- Checking invoices for all approved elements of the construction process are completed on the system and approved in line with the contractual agreements of each client.
- General administration.
- Advise and support across all departments and external partners.
- You will have:_
- Good experience already in accounts with both ledgers.
- Ideally with AAT or desire to complete AAT qualifications.
- Excellent organisational skills and a methodical approach to work.
- Brilliant communication skills and team skills to work in this busy environment.
- Additional skills in reconciliation, credit control and reporting are required.
- SAGE experience and confidence with mínimal training.
The hours of work can either be full time at 37.5 hours with an early finish every Friday Or reduced hours on a part time basis.
