What is on offer?

We have an opportunity for a Laboratory Glassware Washer to join our Facilities department providing support to business operations and washing of Laboratory Glassware / Plastic / PTFE.

This is a part time vacancy working Monday - Friday 13.15 to 17.00

Responsibilities & Skills

Primary Role Laboratory Glass washing duties including glass, plastic and PTFE containers used in laboratory operations as per SOP.
Secondary Role General cleaning offices, laboratories, toilets, showers etc using various equipment and methods.
Report any incidents or accidents.
To wear any protective clothing provided by the Company.
Ensure safety in the workplace, ensuring compliance with all instructions relating to the use and storage of materials/equipment necessary for the performance of tasks.
Follow health and safetypolicies and procedures at all times.
To undertake other tasks of an appropriate nature in consultation with your Line Manager.

To be successful at Alfred H Knight, you will need to display the following:

Required Knowledge and Work Experience

Essential

Ability to work unsupervised.
Good attention to detail.
Flexible working attitude.

Desirable

Previous cleaning experience.
Current clean driving licence.

Hours of work - Monday - Friday 13.15pm to 17.00pm.
