- To ensure all maintenance activities undertaken on the facility are, and remain aligned to company / client business goals, in terms of Safety, Environmental Discharges, Equipment performance and maintenance cost.
- Report immediately any identified unsafe acts or conditions using the company's procedures, e.g. Near Miss Report, Unsafe Condition Report, STOP Observation Report.
- If required, participate and contribute to any Company held meetings offshore.
- Participate in task based risk assessments as per Company's procedures.
- Demonstrate competence at a fundamental level through training and experience and pursue completion of Project-specific training and competency requirements in liaison with onshore and offshore support specialists
- Investigate and repair any reported defect or breakdown and advise Supervisor of any spares required and record all findings on the maintenance management system provided (SAP)
- Carry out maintenance on equipment ensuring all safety requirements, work permits and equipment inhibits are in place prior to work commencing. Advise supervisor of any spares required and complete all necessary documentation to record the task undertaken.
- Required to assist and work with other disciplines when required, where multi-skilling within a team culture is a major area of development on the platform.
- Carry out appropriate mechanical isolations of equipment, installation of new equipment and pressure testing of new / repaired pipework and vessels.
- Carry out other general duties as requested; e.g. valve maintenance, repairs and recertification.
- Carry out routine basic operational duties, i.e. carry out condition monitoring tasks.
