Reed Engineering are recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's leading automotive dealerships, who are looking for
a Mot Tester to join their growing team at their
Southampton site on a full-time permanent basis.



This is a full-time permanent role Monday - Friday (42.5 hours) with overtime

As the
MOT Tester you will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking Class IV MOT tests adhering to strict DVSA/Government guidelines
  • To report additional faults requiring attention.
  • To complete a full write up of work completed.
  • To ensure all documentation is completed promptly.
  • To maintain tools whether own or company in a safe and clean condition.
  • To ensure that all requirements of health and safety procedures are maintained.

Person Requirements:

  • Min 2 years' experience as an MOT Tester
  • Proof of Right to Work in the UK.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Competency in numeracy, literacy and IT.
