Regulatory Legal Counsel - Payments Fintech (c. 3-8 PQE)

I'm exclusively working with an exciting socially driven, impact focused Payments Fintech.

Launched in 2019, they are currently Series B and backed by top VCs who have recognised their continued success and promise for the future.

They have a growing multinationalpresence, currently in the UK, EU, US & Canada.

Leaders in the march of sustainability for their market, they make sure to leave positive social and environmental impacts wherever they tread.

This is echoed throughout their values as a company, such as working towards the UN Sustainable Development Goalfor cross-border remittance.

They are a group accomplished individuals who have come together to accomplish their mission of serving the remittance needs of diaspora communities with their "impact first" ethos.

Their legal team is no different, you will be working in a collegiate teamdirectly under their high-flying Head of Legal and provided with an excellent platform to be autonomous and help propel the company to the next stage.

The role is embedded deep in the business, working closely with all teams as well as regulators (mainly FCA & NBB but also FinCEN & FINTRAC).

The workload mainly revolves around Payments Regulatory such as obtaining licences in new markets, upgrading existinglicenses, ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance for their products.

However, there is the opportunity to get involved in other matters such as commercial contracts/finance to keep things varied
