Our client is a well-known building society with headquarters in Swindon; As one of the largest savings and mortgage providers in the UK, 15 million members are at the heart of everything they do.


On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for
several
PMO Support Officers for a
6-month
contract based remotely with occasional travel to the Swindon office**
Purpose of the Role:To provide vital PMO support to new demand within the Remediation Centre of Excellence.

The existing team comprises five colleagues covering 7-8 programmes of work.

These programmes have significant customer impact and regulatory scrutiny so it is vital all programmes are appropriately resourced to ensure adherence to Remediation and Society Frameworks.


As a PMO Support Officer you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing programme decisions & actions and opine on items for escalation and onward reporting.
  • Chair RAID sessions.
  • Reviewing & challenging RAID logs.
  • Proposing and reporting programme impacts of RAID.
  • Being the key contact for risk and controls sessions.
  • Programme management with key stakeholders (risk, treatment, QC, QA) to ensure appropriate challenges in place on relevant items.
  • Collaborating with programme lead to create the delivery plan.
  • Regularly reviewing the programme to confirm progress on plan.
  • Identifying risks, any slippage, and associated impacts on reporting in plans.
  • Identifying and managing change requests required.
  • Engaging and understanding operational delivery, challenges, risks and impacts to plans.
  • Engaging and understanding assurance activity, challenges, risks and impacts to plans.
  • Defining content of SLT packs above and beyond the minimum to ensure fit for purpose (what additional slides / inputs are needed to be presented).
  • Having the ability to chair & challenge SLT meetings.
  • Working with risk and policy stakeholders to identify society attestations, and work required to progress returns.
  • Strong PMO experience.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Microsoft Office tools experience.
  • JIRA experience would be beneficial.
  • Financial service's experience would be beneficial.
