**Credit Controller - £20,000-£25,000 + Benefits

Are you an excellent communicator and proficient in Microsoft Office packages? Do you have experience working in a financial, accounts or a credit control team? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

Intec Microsystems Ltd is the largest independent IT distributor in the United Kingdom.

We are now looking for ambitious, driven, and enthusiastic people to join the Finance team in Birmingham, which is located within the head office and logistics centre.

**Key Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of a Credit Controller include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the approval list
  • Review customer credit ratings each month
  • Proactive discussions/meetings with account managers regarding customer limits
  • Ensuring customer payments are made on time Managing the chase letter cycle
  • Releasing customer orders once relevant checks are carried out
  • PayPal reconciliation and release of funds
  • Liaise with our trade insurers regarding customer credit limits
  • Update customer return statuses in the credit control software
  • Liaising with dispatch ensuring any queries are dealt with
  • Detailed aged debtors' review
  • Monitor the submission of invoices and credit notes and report any anomalies
  • Amend invoices with correct exchange rates
  • Set up new customer accounts in Sage.

**The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Credit Controller are:

  • Experience within a similar role is essential
  • Must have IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Sage 200 experience preferred
  • AAT qualified/part qualified preferred
  • Good communication skills (good telephone manner is essential)
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • A team player with a "can do" attitude
  • Flexibility and able to multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Be enthusiastic, selfmotivated, organised and have willingness to learn.
