What You'll Be Doing

Legal and Corporate Services are evolving to support this vision. We are looking for a Principal Lawyer to lead the delivery of top priorities by offering high-quality legal services in Social Care, Child Protection, Adult Protection, Education, and SEN.
As a Principal Lawyer in our in-house team, you play a pivotal role in achieving Camden Council's objectives, exceeding client expectations, and providing expert advice in key areas. You will lead a team, manage assignments, performance, and development, working closely with the Head of Legal Services. Your responsibilities include client engagement, resource allocation in line with organizational goals, and decision-making aligning with our values.

We are seeking individuals with extensive experience in Child and Adult Protection, ideally with some knowledge in SEN and Education or a willingness to learn. You should have proven experience advising senior managers, motivating legal teams, and driving problem-solving initiatives that support the organization's objectives.
