  • We're looking to recruit a Manufacturing Systems Specialist based in Burton.
    Your Purpose
  • The manufacturing systems specialist is required to provide a combination of highly technical expertise and logístical coordination ensuring that the manufacturing systems environment is continuously supported, maintained, and sustained. The specialist is also required to identify and pursue opportunities for system optimisation
    Key Responsibilities
  • Provides advanced process control expertise in order to ensure that process control systems are effectively integrated and continually upgraded in line with current technology to reflect process and equipment improvements.
  • Monitors hardware and software functionality, performs improvements as required thus ensuring hardware and software systems integrity (disaster recovery, databackup/system redundancy, anticorruption software and systems installed and uptodate and operating effectively).
  • Drives World Class Manufacturing principles via effective capture and data mining techniques to deliver performance data to assist in root cause analysis when process control issues arise.

About You

  • Advanced PLC Hardware & Software experience (Ideally Rockwell)
  • HMI/SCADA Hardware & Software expertise (Ideally Proficy iFix)
  • Instrumentation knowledge (Ideally E&H)
