To assist the Multi Track Team Manager in managing the Multi Track team on a day-to-day basis; To manage, monitor and motivate team performance.
To manage a team court diary ensuring all relevant hearings are attended and directions are complied with To provide technical support within the team as and when required;To continue to handle a case load of Multi Track, Fast Track or Complex mattersensuring personal targets are hit.
Responsibilities:
- Run own case load.
- Manage team performance in line with business and team objectives, be accountable for their financial performance and delivery against the agreed targets
- Conduct regular, documented 121 meetings, and quarterly reviews within the team
- To ensure that the teams are achieving the right outcome for clients, maximising claims, and moving as many cases as possible into the Multi Track
- To identify any cases that should be with the Serious Injury Team and ensuring transfer into a timely manner
- To assist with the management of resourcing and workloads across the team, including recruitment
- To ensure understanding and compliance with internal policies and procedures
- To provide full supervisory support and guidance on technical issues involving quantum, liability, and litigation generally
- To provide support to the Multi Track manager with technical issues passed from across the business as and when the arise
- Ensure the teams deliver an excellent level of customer service, are managing the clients' expectations and proactively progressing claims
- To highlight any potential risks to senior management and the Compliance department
- To review and complete all agreed management checks, such as Directions, audits, and Limitation supervisor entries
Experience:
- Qualified Solicitor, Member/Fellow of CILEx or experienced Case handler with at least 5 years' multi track case handling experience in the personal injury sector
- Ability to compile and analyse data and act according to the results
- Commercially minded, and able to see opportunities to optimise outcomes on cases, both for the client and the firm
- Previous team management experience to include achieving objectives, performance management, motivating staff
- Ability to provide clear direction and take accountability for the team's performance and objectives
- Competent working with a case management system and good knowledge of MS Office

Hours of work:
Monday-Thursday 9am - 5.30pmFriday 9am - 5pm
Location:
Liverpool - minimum 2 days from office, will consider flexible variations to core hours
