At Atkore Unistrut we are hiring an experiencedPROJECT ENGINEER (DFMA)to join our Engineering Department based in West Bromwich (B70 9PL).

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with the Technical Director on various Construction sites to able to deliver our services to our clients on time
Highly familiar with large building infrastructure projects
Préfabrication/modular construction technique for offsite manufacture
Visualise modular opportunities from a 3D Navisworks or Revit model
Metal framing and structural analysis using Ansys and other FEA tools
Experience of highly regulated industries such as Oil & Gas, transport infrastructure, Power generation and distribution
Emotional intelligence customer facing

Qualifications/Skills and Abilities
-
Highly familiar with large building infrastructure construction projects:

CAD Experience essential, Inventor, Navisworks, Revit proficiency
Multi Discipline Design Engineer in Building Services, Pharmaceutical, Process & Oil and Gas Industries
Understanding of Services, Support Design, Simulation, Frame & Stress Analysis within an M&E environment
Understanding of offsite prefabricated manufacture design principles
Experience of Design for transportation and efficient site installation
MEP Site experience is highly beneficial
Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, ideally Structural Engineering bias

Working hours:
Mon-Thurs 8.30am - 4.30pm, Fri 8.30am-4pm

Negotiable - depending on experience - plus excellent Benefits
