- Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software based on engineering drawings and specifications.
- Using Machinery such as - Hardridge, Mazak, and Citizen
- Using Fanuc controls
- Set up CNC machines by selecting and installing the necessary tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
- Safely and efficiently operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Conduct regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting to keep the equipment in optimal condition.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments as required.
- Collaborate with design engineers and production staff to ensure efficient production processes.
- Continuously improve productivity, efficiency, and quality by optimizing CNC programs and processes.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all workplace health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator or in a similar role.
- Proven CNC Lathe machinery experience
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operating software
- Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and cutting parameters.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality parts.
